just like ccs this could have just worked in pve

but yeah to answer the op - nope nothing worth stockpiling.
quite frankly I'm a little relieved
(and more relieved there wasn't a bunch of dragon weapons/equipment to collect either outside the mask)

With all the left over tickets, I'd say... yes!

The Red Bean Cakes I will be stockpiling, it will be handy to have when moving about the larger towns like Lion's Arch or Cavalon... always I hated not being able to run in towns. Now I can

Red Bean Cakes let you move around faster in town but the rice wine is there to help you out getting drunk.

I say stock up on rice wine for now since people want to get that drunkard title.

Rice Wine, honestly, is too expensive other than to have as a novelty item.

You can get Hunter's Ale (with the same effect as Rice Wine) for 100 gold on average by buying Monestary Credits for that amount.

If you were to simply sell your 25 tickets (used to get the rice wine) to the the Festival Ticket dude, you'd get 375 gold.

That's a 275 gold loss by investing in Rice Wine over the cheaper alternative for the Drunkard title.

hmm that's kind of an evil catch-22
I'm usually running around towns in an effort to sell/use storage/deal with that crap. So speed-up would be nice. Worth another slot used for a speed-up though to do so, what chars have it, or better yet it's waiting in storage?

I'll pass.

Why not just have a good time? Go play dodgeball. Gamble a little for the fun of it. Drink wine, get a sugar rush.

Everything doesn't have to be for gain. Just play for the sake of play.

I'd be all over red bean cakes if they were worded...

"Shadow Step to your in town target."

That would make towns like Granite Citadel (where the storage agent at the top of a bridge) more bearable.

Imagine a bunch of teleporting characters all around the cities. It would be like Star Trek...

Well said. This is a nice change of pace from everything else in the game. Enjoy it while it is here.

Playing for the sake of play is not fun. Everything has to have gain because if not it makes spending time in the event be a waste of time.

They should make Rice Wine have the same exact effect as Spiked Eggnog does. Then it would be worthwhile. They should let you use beancakes anywhere, then it would be worthile.

As it stands the only point of this event so far is to get a Dragon Helm and new titles. The crappyness of the other items are wasted opportunites at making the event fun and worthwhile.

My first event was Halloween... I got pumpkin heads, alchohol and some toys that go boo.

I had a blast, start to finish.

Don't forget how to play. That's why people die. They forget how to live.

Crap...In all my excitment of being able to run in towns...I hand't thought that you wouldn't be able to use the bean cakes outside..can't they just make it so you aren't able to use them in pvp...or wherever else might be a problem? Oh please, please anet..I'm begging ya...I love to go fast, but don't usually put sprint on my bar becuase it's a waste of a skill slot. Please..going slow hurts my feet and makes me a sad little girl! LOL... Not to mention I wasted an arse load of cash buying those presents.

I mixed one with an eggnog.

Was not disappointed.

Added a spiked for gits and shiggles. Almost threw up from the vertigo.

Some people just cant have fun unless they somehow profit from it. Sure the festival items arent very useful and are more expensive but does it really matter? It's all in the spirit of fun.

too bad you cant get max title on this event

max titles are 2.5 million tickets and 500k loses

2.5 mil is 25-27 24/7 afk's and event last 5 days..so in 5 years you will get it
